Walton Park Playground

On the southern side of a large green space of Walton Park just off Raglan Road in Sale is this well equipped children’s play area, the toddler area is surrounded by metal fencing with gated entrance and exit, this park is ideal for young children and toddlers, the large adjacent field has further play equipment for older children and the field is perfect for ball games, kites flying, Frisbee, running about and picnics etc. The playground flooring is a mix of grass and rubber tiles under some pieces of play equipment.

There is also a miniature railway that is about 1/4 mile long. The trains are operated on Sundays, weather and availability of engines permitting and cost 30p per ride for both children and adults.
