Spurrier’s Play Park - Upton Country Park
Entrance to the park is free apart from car parking, and there is much to do upon arrival. You can admire the grand Georgian mansion house, take in the wildlife by the harbour, let the children play in the playground and on the front lawn, participate in the regular activities and events – or just find a quiet spot to enjoy the amazing horticulture and beautiful botanical walled garden.
Built in late 2019, Spurrier’s play park is an enormous natural timber play area suitable for children of all ages and abilities.
The park grounds are extensive and have recently grown in size too, the gardens close to the estate are dog free, but the surrounding areas to the West are large and perfect for dog walking, there are numerous cycle paths too.
The front lawn is suitable for ball games and family picnics whilst to the side and back of the house (which can be visited on open days) there is a duck pond and more beautifully landscaped formal gardens to relax in.
