Great Notley Country Park Playground
Great Notley Country Park and Discovery Center is a huge approx. 100 acre recreation and activity centre just off the A131 on the out skirts of Great Notley near Braintree. The park is free to visit and use there is however a charge for parking, and for the climbing ropes (more info here Sky Ropes).
The site contains at least four separate play areas (one especially for toddlers and younger children) and areas for bird watching, walking, cycling, fishing, horse riding, football, picnics and kite-flying.
There is a play trail that is approx 3/4 of a mile long and includes a giant see-saw, climbing forest, tyre swings, sand pits, rope climbers, slides, forts and a water play area, making it a great place for all ages to play and explore.
