Canford Park Children's Play Area

Canford Park covers approximately 10.5 acres and is located to the north west of Bristol centre near Westbury-on-Trym, Canford Park Children’s Play Area is located on the western edge of the park which can be accessed by entrances from Canford Lane which has nearby bus stops, the bus takes around 30 minutes from the city centre.

The play area is surrounded by fencing and is a dog free zone. Other facilities available in the park include a public toilet, lily pond, planted garden, cafe and a pleasent outdoor seating area. The park has good wheelchair and pushchair access as it is flat and there are lots of paved paths throughout. Access can be difficult around the lily pond and sunken rose garden.

There is no dedicated car park for this Park and Playground but parking is usually available on the streets nearby and Westbury Hill Car Park is a short 6-minute walk away or you can find out where else to park in Bristol here.

The play area equipment was updated in 2014 with lots more equipment for older children, and more adventurous climbers.
