Alexandra Park in Lower Parkstone Poole covers approximately 7 acres of green park land in between Poole and Bournemouth. In the centre of the park is a fenced of playground and play area which was renovated and opened to the public in May 2010.
The new playground equipment in the fenced area is aimed towards younger children and includes a cone climber, rope spinning top, a rope bridge, three springy platforms, wooden balance beams, mini obstacle course. Outside of the fenced area is more play equipment design towards older children, zip wire, nest or buddy swing, a rebound wall with skill panels.
The park is easily accessible via Palmerston Road and also Alexander Road with an excellent footpath network throughout the park.
