Whitecliff Recreation Ground Play Area is one of the largest play areas in Poole and was refurbished in May 2009.
There is a fenced play area within a large recreation ground which borders the harbour with good views of Brownsea Island and includes a sports pavilion, car parking, sports pitches and a fitness trail.
The equipment in this themed play area is unique and benefits from a large helicopter play unit with a double slide and a large tower unit, there is also a large sand pit with a climbing frame, a play boat supplied sand diggers, other play equipment includes a buddy swing, a Cone Climber, a “Cat’s Tail” spinner and “The Board”.
Public toilets are available in the pavilion close to the main car park, where further on street car parking is also available close to the play area. A mobile catering van located in the main car park is open most days.
