Located just off the B471 between Pangbourne and Woodcote is Whitchurch Hill, a small and beautiful village. The village green lies to the south of the village and covers approximately 2 acres and contains a small but well-equipped play area, it is tidy and well maintained and includes a good climbing frame, swings, a roundabout, a traditional old rocking horse as well as a table tennis table and large basketball net. The large green space is perfect for running about, ball games, picnics, frisbee, kite flying etc. Despite not being fenced in the playground feels secure and is away from fast roads, the green is mostly surrounded by hedging and trees. There is a small amount of informal parking along Goring Heath Road as this is a residential road consideration should be made to the local resident’s driveways etc.
