Tyne Green Play Area
A beautiful, well-maintained park at Hexham riverside with very good facilities.
This is possibly my favorite park in the North East. Facilities include lots of parking, toilets, a vast picnic area, picnic tables and seats.
Park equipment includes a zip line, toddler swings, bigger swings, seesaw, toddler slide. There is outdoor exercise equipment for older kids/adults (climbing wall, monkey bars, balance beams).
Suitable or all ages from toddlers up.
The park has always been well maintained when I’ve been.
The best features have been the easy parking, toilets, ice cream van, and exercise equipment. There is also a lovely walk along the river and a golf course to walk nearby.
