The Level
This is a vibrant and busy park in summer and the cooler months. It has great children’s play equipment, water that the kids can play in and skate park for the older kids. The Velo Cafe is spacious and sells good quality food. The toilets were pretty grim when I went but if cleaned regularly would be great as they are modern with all facilities. There are shady areas for picnics.
There is on-street pay and display parking along Ditchling Road, Union Road and Lewes Road. Two disabled bays, including one which will be suitable for a minibus (with blue badge), are planned.
