Wallisdown Recreation Ground is a large playing field covering approximately 8 acres, on the eastern side Wallisdown which is north of Bournemouth, On the southern edge of the playing field is this small fenced play area it was opened in March 2011 and has a range of modern playground equipment including a buddy swing, a 4 metre high twin tower climbing frame with a tube/tunnel slide, a rope bridge and a two person wide slide, a small spinner bowl and a multi springer. There is also a brilliant “Willy Jeep” play 4×4 vehicle. Access to the play area is via a short link from the good local footpath and cycleway network. On street parking is available along Talbot Drive from with the playground is only a short walk. There is a wooden area to the east, great for exploring and nature activities.
