Situated next to The Beaconsfield Arms in the small Suffolk village of Occold, is this great children’s playground, on the northern edge of a large green space covering approximately 2.2 acres. The play area is well equipped and well maintained, it is completely surrounded by sturdy metal fencing with a gated entrance and exit, The playground equipment is not particularly modern but contains the core you would expect to keep the children entertained, zip wire, swings, slide, climbing frame monkey bars. The flooring of the play ground is wood bark chippings to adequately soften any tumbles.
Next to the playground is a large grass field which is great for ball games, frisbee and general running about, there is also football goals.
Parking is available right next to this park with the added benefit of a pub for any much needed refreshments.
