Millets Farm Centre Play Park

Millets Farm Centre has a garden centre, farm shop, cafe, craft gallery, children’s play area, restaurant, falconry centre, farm zoo and wooden area, fruit picking (seasonal and charegable) and a maize maze in late summer/autumn. It is much much than a simple park and well worth a visit.

There is a large green space at the back of the fab farm shop and cafe with plenty of play equipment to keep the kids entertained including slides, swings, a climbing frame, sand pit, roundabout, rockers, ride on tractors and diggers (£1), fairground rides (seasonal and chargeable).

The big grassed area is great for picnics and in the summer they also often have further rides or activities such as mini trampolines, ice skating and a Santa’s grotto.

There is also animals to look at – pigs, goats, sheep, cows, llama, ducks and guinea pigs most of these are only outside in the summer / spring months. There is another sandpit as you walk through their main garden centre, lots of lovely cakes again for sale, places to sit, it is nice enclosed sandpit here with a teepee style tent for shade so perfect for small toddlers.
