In the north east corner of Longford Park opposite a small Cafe (Caffeine & Co) at the end of Longford Avenue in Stretford is this well equipped playground, surrounded by metal fencing with a gated entrance and exit, this park is ideal for young children, toddlers and older children, the large adjacent field is perfect for ball games, kite flying, Frisbee, running about and picnics etc. The playground flooring is mostly grass with safe and soft crushed rubber compound under most pieces of play equipment. There is also a Pet’s Corner, Climbing Boulder, Football/Rugby Pitches and Formal/Japanese Gardens to enjoy.
