Local Park, Great Western Park
Opened to the public in August 2016, the play park offers various pieces of modern play equipment and pockets of green open space, suitable for the younger children.
On road parking will be minimal at the weekends due to the number of houses in the area, but it’s a lovely little park.

This park is in need of repair
Fab little park for a cheeky catch up with friends. Few benches and lots of green areas for picnics. We parked in the asda car park and walked (5 mins) across the rugby pitch to get to it. My 9 and 6 year olds loved the zip wire, big and speedy. They also played hide and seek in the multitude of shrubs! We spent about 2 hours there- just right on a chilly Easter holiday!
This is a great park. It has baby swings and a small Wendy House with shallow slide for the smallest children. For older kids, the climbing trunks, zip line and trampoline look fun. It will be even nicer when the trees have grown a bit more to provide some shade on sunny days.
Great Park for little ones but the gates worry me. Little ones can easily get out
