Leavenheath Recreation Ground Play Area

Leavenheath is a small village to the North of Colchester, there is a large public green space on the west side of the village covering approximately 6 acres. This children’s playground is located next to the Village hall just off Wright Way on the eastern side of the recreation ground. The playground flooring is all grass and it is not fenced in, the play equipment is mostly of wooden construction and includes the usual swings, slide and climbing frame. Also, there is a stack of climbing rocks and an unusual tunnel/ramp to play on. Bench seating is provided and there is a covered pavilion to hide in if a rain shower occurs!
