  1. Wow! Can’t believe we haven’t visited this park sooner with our two grand children 2 and 4. It’s a beautiful, imaginative space. Massive clean sand pit (BYO equipment) with plenty of seating nearby to keep an eye on the children. Lots of creative equipment for them to play on, even at their tender ages. Lovely walk, albeit we didn’t get too far. Loads more for us to try on our next visit. Only negatives were the bins badly needed emptying and the toilets could have been cleaner. That aside it’s a really well worth a visit and what’s more it’s FREE!

  2. Looks a great park to walk around just such a shame it is not wheelchair friendly. Given this park is next to The Homestead residential home for the elderly, it would be nice to take some of the
residents round the park but impossible in a wheelchair as the paths are far too rough!

  3. I am considering visiting this park with my dog because it sounds thoughtfully designed, user friendly, popular and interesting. As an elderly disabled person needing to drive, bringing a scooter in the car, the big plus point is the on-site carpark (no difficult and unsafe unloading at the roadside, a big negative). The possibility of meeting families and other folk walking dogs in a safe area is appealing especially as there is a dearth of public open spaces for walking around this area. But no toilet facility is disappointing and off-putting. I will give stars and amend this comment after I have visited soon.

  4. Could not wish for anything more in this park. It’s great and quite fun for adults too. Great for all ages. One problem is no toilet near by.

  5. Great park with good surrounding park land for dog walking. Only downside is no nearby toilet facilities but well worth a visit!!!
