Itchen Valley Country Park is set in 440 acres of beautiful water meadows, woodland and meadows situated beside the River Itchen. There are two outdoor fun play areas for children, one perfect for under nine year old’s situated near the Woodland Cafe and an adventure style play area for ages 14 years and under located on High Hill Field. An interactive trail connects the two areas. Made up of a series of animal sculptures for children to play on, the play trail is also suitable for pushchairs.

Gates open at 5am everyday (except for Christmas day)
Gates are locked at 6pm from 1 October to 31 March (GMT)
