Hyde Park North Play Area
Just off West Carriage Drive and Bayswater Road in the centre of the northern edge off Hyde Park, is a small but well equipped playground, geared mainly toward younger children the play area has modern and well look after play equipment including the usual swings, slides, climbing frame and see-saw as well as water play that makes a short running stream across the ground.
The nearest Underground Tube Station to this play area is Lancaster Gate on the Central Line (red) there is also a bus stop very close on route 94, 149, 390 and N207.
It is only a easy 10 minute walk from Paddington main line train station.
Hyde Park is huge covering approximately 650 acres in the centre of London just east of Buckingham Palace, there is so much to see including the Italian Gardens with fountains, Kensington palace and gardens, The huge Serpentine Lake, two galleries, Princess Diana memorial gardens/fountain/playground and the Albert Memorial to name just a few.
