Harwell Jubilee Playground
The playing fields in Harwell covers approximately 14 acres of green space, in south east corner is Harwell Jubilee Playground which recently benefited from more new and improved equipment installed in 2012, in 2014 this play area was short-listed for a national award at the 2014 Biffa Awards, these awards recognise projects that have transformed their communities.
The playground has some great equipment and exploration areas, with a bridge, hills and several tunnels along with standard play equipment, slides, swings, climbing frame etc.
Out side of the fenced are is a large zip wire and exercise equipment for older children and adults, as well as a nest or buddy swing and an unusual bowl shaped roundabout.

I love coming to this park but unfortunately after spending all that money on it there are no toilet facilities nearby !
We always enjoy visiting this park, always nicely maintained and a good variety of equipment for my 3 and 6 year old. The only downside is that when it’s wet, the steep hills are really tricky to climb! Watch out for a mud slide!
