Freemans Meadow is a large green space covering approx. 3.5 acres on the north side of Henley-on-Thames, it as accessible from Fair Mile via the main entrance or via a small path from Luker Avenue.
The newly re-furbished playground has a good selection of play equipment but it is mostly suited towards older children. Play equipment includes a modern very large impressive tubular steel climbing frame, a nest swing, tyre swing, spinning table, roundabout, swings and two other spinning devices!
very limited parking is available near the main entrance on Fair Mile, and similarly limited parking on Luker Avenue amongst the residential vehicles.
There is plenty of green space for lots of ball games and football goals are provided, there is also a covered bus stop style structure.
