Florence Park
Fantastic park consisting of several different areas surrounded with beautiful gardens and trees. Plenty of parking on the roadside and often the gate is open to park directly next to the park entrance.
The first section of the park is relatively new, large sandpit, plenty of climbing equipment, swings, see saw and wobbly bridge. The next area contains climbing ropes and a zip wire.
Further on from this there is an old style playground, with nice high swings and a big climbing frame. You could easily spend much of the day here. Picnic areas and toilets available. There’s a shop to buy ice creams too in the summer. Paths link the parks so good for scooters.

The park itself is lovely but if you’re planning on visiting the mini golf I would consider another activity.
– The mini golf is not maintained. The paint is peeled, there are no numbers to work out the order. There are broken holes in places. There is debris all over the green and some of the green is coming up. There is a lot of litter and it is just generally uncared for. It is certainly not value for money, there are 3 holes that are the same. Very disappointed group visit.
GReat park for all ages. My children learnt how to ride their bikes there. Toilets and lovely cafe. Crazy golf and tennis. Large open spaces and two good areas with play equipment. Parking is generally good and in summer months off road parking is available
