Craigtoun Country Park
Free entry and large carpark; donations welcome and tickets may be purchased for some activities (e.g. riding bikes or bouncy castles, miniature steam train) but under-3’s are always free on activities and the grounds are ENORMOUS. Slides, swings, zipwire, picnic tables, a pond, challenge courses, and a track round the whole perimeter. Excellently maintained. Can’t recommend it enough.
From website: “There is a large Adventure Playground, which is maintained by Fife Council, as well as an All-Inclusive Play Area, which was added by the Friends of Craigtoun in 2017. There are Trampolines, which are built into a large sand pit area and, on the quieter north side of the park, you will find our Trim Trails and a 30ft Zip Wire. To the right of the Cafe lies the well-loved Fairy Glen, an enchanting wooded area that is fondly remembered by many from childhood visits to Craigtoun.”
