Chilton Playground and Active Play Area
Accessible by an almost hidden right turning before the Church on Church Hill, this narrow road takes you to a good sized parking area next to the Village Hall.
There is a large well maintained field of approximately 6 acres containing two separate playgrounds, nearest the car park is fenced are aimed towards younger children and toddlers containing some good but old play equipment such as a balance beam obstacle course, swings, a climbing frame with monkey bars, a climbing wall and a single (horse) spring rocker.
In the south east corner of the park is a new Active Play area with some really good modern equipment including a very fast tunnel slide, two surf board balance spring rockers, a zip wire, a nest/buddy swing and a wooden climbing frame to name just a few.
There are also football goals on the main field and a tarmacked ball games area with basket ball hoops and wall for kicking balls against.
All in all this is a great play area for children off all ages and well worth a visit.
