The Alf Barrett Playground
The Alf Barrett Playground is tucked away in Old Gloucester street (a relatively quiet one way road) just one road along from the busy Southampton row. The play area and outdoor gym underwent a brilliant regeneration in 2022 with landscaping, unique play equipment and murals on the walls making it a world away from the previous state. There is an impressive lizard themed climber taking centre stage and most of the equipment made by Kompan the playground equipment specialists.
Great for a little stop over if your in the area or visiting Great Ormond Street Hospital
