New Abbey Meadows Park and Playground
The following text and pictures associated with this park reflect the old pre-refurb park.
Located right on the River Thames, the park has a well-equipped play area and sprinklers. There is a lot of green space to play too, cafe, tennis courts and an outdoor pool (chargeable). During the warmer weather, the sprinklers do get busy and it’s worth mentioning that the river is close and not fenced off. Note that that pool and sprinklers are only open during the summer months.
There is a pay-and-display car park directly next to the park via Abbey Close.
